Hello there! I'm Deloyce Elle. It is a joy to be a part of the Bethel family and to serve as Director of Children's Ministry.
I grew up in Calgary, cheering for the Flames and Stampeders (and still do today). Much of my childhood and teen years were spent at a swimming pool, playing the organ, and being involved in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
After high school, I moved to Edmonton where I attended Concordia University College of Alberta, graduating with Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees. The next six years were spent teaching within the Lutheran school system.
Because I love to learn, life just wouldn't be complete without being a student, so in my spare time I completed a Master of Education degree through Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska.
I have been serving at Bethel since 2005, and each day is a blessing. I've had the opportunity to meet and work with so many gifted individuals. Watching the children grow in their faith reminds me of how God wants all of us to have faith like a child, coming to our Heavenly Father with our arms open wide, ready to receive His love and forgiveness unconditionally.
When I'm not at church, you might find me relaxing with a vanilla latte, doing crafty things like cardmaking and scrapbooking, or reading, spending time with family and friends, watching TV or a movie (especially Disney animations), camping . . . in other words, enjoying this amazing world God has created.
